AAR AHB1 26 March 2011
« on: March 27, 2011, 08:15:27 am »
With the weather looking ominous, it was touch and go whether we would play, but thankfully it held so we could get in a solid days gaming - apart from a few minor drops. Thankfully noone wussed out, and we managed to have the biggest turnout at an AHB game yet - with 99% of us being AHB members!! 20 Players all up!! Nice job.

Everyone had a blast, and luckily we had enough airsoft guns to go around. Thanks to those that dug into their personal caches to help out. We have a couple more club guns inbound :)

We played in one of the newer areas we've found at AHB1, and having those two defendable mounds at each end provided us with a good field. Plenty of cover, some open areas for maneuver, and even a giant stump in the middle, which was a cover magnet, and a BB magnet.... Good Times.

Thanks to Johnsy for representing TAR. Also, welcome to another ex-aucklander, Pancho. Thanks Windos for bringing out your Prop Bomb Mk2. The two games we used it in were excellent fun.

Anyway, enough of my rambling. Here's the pics (There's a few, so I've split em across posts):

So when she who wears low cut tops saw these photo's, there's an eruption of laughter and teasing about man-love moments... The reply was without hesitation and in hindsight quite defensive... "Shaddup [beach], I was just being a propper medic and takin his pulse..."

Then there was the, "that bleepity bleep, Grunta, mumble, camera, jam it, bleep, sunshine, mumble."

Wicked day though fellas.  ;D

It's amazing that you managed to get that ultra-rare shot of me actually moving.
