Porky's II: Saturday, 23 October: All Welcome
« on: October 10, 2010, 04:11:20 pm »
After a successful 'Dig In' Day at Porkchop's we're going to have another day out at our field. This time we're going to spend the morning with a few skirms, and maybe some more digging. Following a small lunch and some refreshments, we'll spend some time in the workshop going over our guns with our club Armourer.

If you have suitable props or assorted materials we can use, please let Euthanasia know. He's managing logistics. Please remember Porkchop's is not a dumping ground as it's private land, which we're privileged to be able to use.

As you may have noticed this game is on Saturday - instead of our usual Sunday. we're going to be shuffling games between Saturday and Sunday from now on, to better accommodate our membership.

WHEN: 10am Meet at TARADALE 4SQUARE CARPARK, before convoying out to the field.
BBQ Lunch will be at 1:00PM, then we're in the workshop for the afternoon.

WHERE: Porkchop's Hill, Pukititiri.

WHAT TO BRING: Yourself, a Friend, Airsoft guns and gear, Outdoor tools, props for the field.
NB. The Club will be providing a BBQ and some Drinks for all.

HOW MUCH: $5 Field Fee. This might be waived depending on numbers, and effort  :P

CLUB GUNS: Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to borrow a club gun. We'll reserve one for you if it's available. Whilst the loan of the gun is free, we ask for a donation of $20 to cover a maintenance fee, and a Hi-Cap Magazine full of BBs.

Club Gun 1 (G36c): Sam
Club Gun 2 (G36c): Silver Nitros

EYE PROTECTION: We have eye protection available for new players to use. The Mesh masks allow the wearing of prescription glasses beneath them, and provide additional face protection. There is no charge for the eye protection, but please let us know early, so we can ensure it's available for you.

Eye Protection 1 (Mesh Mask): Sam
Eye Protection 2 (Mesh Mask): Available
Eye Protection 3 (Mesh Mask): Available

TRANSPORT: Some of our players drive from various locations, so if you require assistance with transport, let us know.

Is it a fullday hootnanny? or a starting later shindig? it would be quite beneficial for you to take a look at your own internals with Porky there to help you out. I know the day we had a few months ago was very interesting

With this event coming up if anyone has some sandbags that they want to donate to the site that would be cool also if anyone has a brush cutter or access to one that would also useful for helping cutting tracks.

Shadow, ask the old man if he can score some heavy duty scrub cutters etc. He said something about it a couple months ago, and it could be time.

I have a line trimmer which I can bring up but it won't be any good on anything more then dense grass. If we want to chop some paths through the blackberry and gorse we'll need a scrub cutter for sure.
