Airsoft Hawke's Bay Club Uniform
« on: August 29, 2017, 11:36:10 am »
Our primary 'OFFICIAL' club camo, for what we call the 'Green role' i.e. for play outdoors in open field, bush or forest, is the Russian 'Partizan' pattern Uniform in 'SS Summer' (SS-Leto) camouflage (based upon the German WW2 SS Camouflage pattern Oak A, but has more green in the modern Russian version).

This has been proven to be a very effective general purpose camo for our fields and a distinctive camo for our Club.

There are many Russian companies making garments in this camo, varying from cheap and short life to excellent which is the company called SSO/SPOSN, they make the best uniform which is the preferred uniform by most Club members to date. It is reinforced, has camo loops, and has proven to be very comfortable to wear and durable.

It is loosely based upon a Russian Sniper pattern Uniform, and is actually reversible, so the 'bleed through' colours are more subdued with a brownish tinge, which makes this side effective in forest and dry/summer conditions. The 'Green' side is effective in Winter, Spring and Autumn when foliage is generally more green.

Our second Uniform that we use, is the US Army Tri Desert camo pattern from the 1990's/early 2000's.

Along with matching Patrol or Boonie Hat, or Helmet or other Brown coloured headwear.

This uniform is our official travelling away Uniform (in conjunction with our Club Black T-Shirt), and for Competitions (e.g. at National Competition day)/CQB (Indoor or around buildings) games, and also doubles up as our OPFOR (Opposing Forces) Uniform when required.

We strongly urge the use of Coyote Tan/Brown coloured webbing/Chest Rigs/Plate Carriers for wear with this uniform (NOT Black or Green, but Multicam Standard or Arid is O.K.), as it helps make our uniform both distinctive and easy to indentify on the 'field', which also helps to minimise 'Blue on Blue' incidents, and other clubs instantly know that AHB is the club who wear this uniform.

We also have official club Green and Tan T-Shirts for wear 'out in the field' with either the Partizan SS Summer or Tri Desert Uniforms.
