I'll be there

Do you know what FPS your gun shoots at? The Infirmary has a limit of no more than 350fps on .2 gram bbs.

So, is there a meeting place or do we just make out way there?

Just make your way out there. Gates will be open around ten. Address is 69 parongahau rd and the gate is at the far end (away from the town), you can't miss it.

Well, what a great day at The Infirmary!
A small contingent from Taupo arrived, very keen and well before any locals :o)
Thanks to Richard, Glen, Joshua and Danny? for making the trip over.
Just over 20 players arrived.
Thanks to Torak for doing the Admin and running the day.
Nice to see some new CYMA AK74U's making their inaugural appearance.
1st Game up was the classic 'Capture the Flag' between two building. After a slow start, mainly due to the 10 sec medic rule..., and a few minor pushes by individuals trying to get in at one end, a major push was led by Jimbo's team and finally established themselves into the building and pushed through up to the 2nd floor, where a vicious battle was fought. Jimbo's team won by having a flag the longest.
2nd Game was 'VC Trail' through the Admin building. With guns firing Auto now, this was exceedingly tough, but weight of numbers (2 to 1 in favour of attackers) and a few lucky shots against the defenders, pushed them back slowly but surely. Casualties were very high on the Attacking side, the Defenders acquitted themselves well.
Especially near the end as they were pushed back
3rd and 4th Games were 'Virus', also in the Admin building. This time only Semi's, Shotguns and Pistols were allowed. As per usual players changed sides many times, and even though teams were restricted to no more than 5 metres, BB's were flying everywhere through windows, doors, gaps in walls, etc...Players were hit many times, and the fierce firefights often prevented players swopping sides after being hit.
During the day a large number of face, head and nose shots occurred, so make sure you wear your face masks next time Boys... :0)
The day was over only too soon :o( but everyone happy and looking forward to the next event...
