Hi All,
Airsoft Hawkes Bay would like to announce the acquisition of a new, permanent, exclusive to AHB, field!
After many months of working towards a location that fits our needs we've finally secured exclusive airsoft access to a large multi-terrain site. As good as Dartmoor is, with the steady growth in the club, it's starting to feel a bit confined.
Here are a few details about the site:
- The site is gated and locked. To gain access to the site, you will need either Eightball or R3CON to provide you with a key.
- It's close by, like Dartmoor or Porkchops, but we will not have to worry so much about random civilians
- The site is approximately 2 kilometers long, 200 meters wide, with multiple sections featuring different types of terrain. There is easy vehicle access the length of the site, so we can chose varying terrain types depending on our needs for the day
- The terrain includes riverside bush, rolling short-grassed fields (yay @ reduced sneezing/rashes from long grass), orchard-like tree-filled groves, large felled trees, etc. The far end of the field where we will park our vehicles includes massive shade trees. No more melting hot vehicle interiors!
- We will be working with Another venture to establish some semi-permanent structures which we will have total access to, including barbecue tables, shade cloths, toilet facilities, and lockable storage. We're expecting these facilities to be available within the next 6-8 months.
- We've been given permission to add other, game-related, semi-permanent structures to the site also, so get your thinking hats working, and your work gloves on.
- The site will easily accomodate a large invitational, or weekend event at the site. Camping at the site will also be permitted.
Some pictures to whet your appetite!...

Awesome good area lots of different terrains and bush types looking forward to using it.

on another note. That 200 meters wide is to the river section. Then there is an area with similar setup as Dartmoor. About 30 meters wide running the length of the field. It was a great tour. I also have many pics, but 8's show most of whats available, the sooner we game out their and try some bits and pieces the better.

Yeah,
R3CON went crazy taking photos... We got to wander all over the site. It was exciting stuff.
