Player Conduct:

Calling your hits is the most important part of playing airsoft. Airsoft is a game of integrity and players not calling hit is the most frustrating part of the game. When you feel, hear or see a BB hit part of your body or kit, immediately yell “HIT”, pull out your red kill rag, place it on your head or gun and begin whatever casualty scheme that the game requires. Sometimes players do not realise they are hit. You may also think that you hit somebody, but the bb may have hit a branch of the tree they're standing behind, etc. The best thing to do in this situation is to carry on playing as normal and try to hit them again. Sometimes you may get hit whilst trying to hit them again, just call your hit and carry on your day.
If during the day you have an issue with somebody who you feel is not calling hits, approach them after the game and have a quiet talk with them, remember they may not be doing it intentionally. Please do not address the issue mid game, it can easily lead to arguments.

If you feel like you might have been hit but don’t feel or hear it, just call your hit anyway.
Any hit on your body, kit, or gun including direct hits and ricochet’s. Any BB that hit’s you, whether from your enemy or a team mate is considered a hit. If in doubt, just call hit.

Airsoft is a sport requiring a high level of integrity, honesty, and sportsmanship. As such we have implemented a "Don't be a Dick" rule. This rule should be fairly self-explanatory. Basically, in any situation where there is doubt about whether you are hit, it's always better to take the hit. By the same token, if you're the shooter - be quick to give the benefit of the doubt to the other player. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment for all those interested in Airsoft - this includes those that aren't "so tough I can endure three weeks of waterboarding at Guantanamo" We've instituted a sportsmanship/MVP award which is assigned at the end of each gaming event. DON'T Make us implement a "You're a Dick" award.

At Close Range:AHB does NOT run a freeze/bang rule however DBAD rule still applies, remember your MEDs and switch to secondary if required.

As we have a club chronograph that can calculate Joules of Energy (inputting the BB weight before test shots) I have added the energy ratings in parentheses above.

If you cannot consistantly chronograph shots within the acceptable field limits for your weapon, or you cannot judge engagement distances correctly, your weapon may be banned from play, until compliance.

We will be establishing a fixed 10 meter measured area at our field, to assist with people measuring engagement distances.

This has been updated with Killrag information above in the first post. Please be aware that AHB now require the use of Killrags. We sell the Canteen Bandanas (Red) onsite and require ALL players to use them.

We've updated the Standard Field Rules relating to the use of 0.2g BBs, or lighter, at CQB games.

A formal "Bang Kill" rule will be added shortly, to alleviate confusion.

Added section regarding calling hits and what counts as a hit.

To save confusion, gun hits and ricochets now count as hits. This has been added to the game brief.
